Into the Green werd georganiseerd in het kader van het Brasil Festival, een cultureel uitwisselingsproject dat in oktober en november van 2011 in Amsterdam plaatsvond. Deelnemende kunstenaars waren Renata de Andrade, Coralie Vogelaar & Teun Castelein, Grondvormen en Martina Florians. Daarnaast was er werk van Ernesto Neto, Alexandre da Cunha en Carlos Nader te zien. De tentoonstelling bestond uit kunstwerken geïnspireerd door duurzaamheid en de (her)waardering van het alledaagse. Het gebruik van gerecycled materiaal en een kritische houding ten opzichte van ons consumptie gedrag stonden daarbij centraal.
Into the Green was an exhibition organized in the context of the Brasil Festival, a cultural exchange project held in Amsterdam in October and November 2011. Participating in the show were Renata de Andrade, Coralie Vogelaar & Teun Castelein, Grondvormen and Martina Florians. Works of Ernesto Neto, Alexandre da Cunha and Carlos Nader were also on show. The concept revolved around sustainability, an environmentally conscious lifestyle and the (re)valuation of the everyday. The use of recycled materials and a critical attitude towards our consumption behavior were key.
