Nectar Art Projects focusses on collection management and conservation, art historical research, exhibition making and writing with a special interest in visual art from Latin America. It is founded by independent art historian, writer and curator Madelon van Schie (1982, Amsterdam). Besides co-running the project space ROZENSTRAAT – a rose is a rose is a rose in Amsterdam, Madelon works as collection manager, advisor, writer and curator for several private and corporate art collections, such as the Defares Collection, Hartwig Art Foundation, Normec Art, Chios Art and the Schiphol Art Collection. Madelon studied art history at the University of Leiden, the VU in Amsterdam and the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires. In addition, she completed a research master’s degree in Latin America studies at the University of Amsterdam.
